SHARPS Collection

This healthcare facility will accept and dispose of “SHARPS” between      10 a.m. to noon and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Rockland County Residential SHARPS Collection Task Force has developed this program to properly dispose of residential “SHARPS.”

No unscheduled drop-off of “SHARPS” will be accepted. By scheduling drop offs, the participating facility will have staff available to receive the “SHARPS” containers. Do not dispose of “SHARPS” in your town recycling program! Dispose of “SHARPS” only at designated facilities.

This program is only open to residents of Rockland County. Sharps from private physician offices or healthcare agencies will not be accepted.
